Meet Dr. Daphne C. Edwards, APRN, MS, CPNP-PC
Dr. Daphne C. Edwards

Dr. Daphne is a doctoral prepared, board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Nursing, and Master’s degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. In May 2009, Dr. Daphne completed Doctoral training at Old Dominion University preparing her to address and care for more complex pediatric patients. Childhood obesity prevention was Dr. Daphne’s graduate capstone research concentration. In addition to primary care, Dr. Daphne has trained and worked in development, neurology, feeding and urgent care. She has taught at the university level, managed a federally funded grant project, and published. Dr. Daphne is committed to being a good listener, while giving parents the respect they deserve. She believes in the importance of making parents a partner in healthcare decisions, and being considerate of parents’ time, comfort, and privacy.

Patient Care

We provide healthcare services across the childhood continuum for well exams and immunizations, childhood illness, sports exams, and Developmental/Behavorial concerns. Limited labs performed on-site and additional testing and x-ray ordered from outside facilities. Offering same day sick appointments in addition to prescheduling.


How to prepare for your visit?

To expedite your visit, please complete the intake paperwork prior to your visit. In order to give vaccines, we must have a copy of your child's shot record at the time of the visit. You may sign a medical release in our office or at your previous provider's office to have all records transferred. You will need to present a driver's license and a copy of your child's insurance card at each visit.
